To go to St. Petersburg for the weekend or holidays has become commonplace for Muscovites. Four hours by train “Sapsan” — and here you are in the capital of Peter’s luxury and balls Catherine’s era. Today, however, St. Petersburg is not only trips to countless museums, boat trips along the Neva river and excursions to the luxurious Imperial palaces. Peter is rapidly developing, becoming more and more modern: now they go to the Northern capital for the sake of modern Spa resorts, unique hotels, new gastronomic sensations. The latest trend among tourists is the choice of accommodation is intimate and cosy hotels. If you also want something new and unusual, then boutique hotels are the best option. They are usually located in the buildings of old mansions with a rich history. Each room is a unique design project. One of these hotels, which we found in St. Petersburg – DOM BOUTIQUE HOTEL on Gangutskaya street, a few minutes from the Summer Palace of Peter I. It is located in a former Apartment building of the XIX century. Dom BOUTIQUE HOTEL received its first guests in 2016, and despite the fact that the building was renovated, every corner of it seems imbued with history.
The design of the hotel, as well as rooms, where each piece of furniture was created by a special sketch, was developed by London professionals. In the lobby of the hotel guests pass on the real marble floor, and in rooms — on a parquet from natural breeds of a tree. Each room has its own highlight: a bright yellow wardrobe, or red chairs, or elegant black tiles in the bathroom.
